Laguiole is a French knife style, and this collection brings together two makers who do it properly. Laguiole en Aubrac handcrafts steak knives, folding knives and corkscrews in Espalion, in the historic Laguiole area of France. Laguiole Jean Néron makes flatware and cheese sets in France, guided by the same family for five generations.
Look for the forged bee, the curved handle and the maker's name on the steel. You will find olive wood, buffalo horn, grapevine wood and even ancient mammoth molar here, from small cheese pieces to heirloom steak knife sets.
