Ash burl has a warm honey colour dotted with small dark swirls. The worked plates show along the back of the knife when it is closed. It feels like a step up from a plain folding knife without becoming a showpiece.
The handle is ash burl wood with brushed stainless steel bolsters. The bee and spring are forged from one piece and fully handmade, with double plates. The bee is hand forged with special crafting. The 12C27 Sandvik stainless steel blade is 4 inches (10 cm) long. It measures 4.75 inches (12 cm) from bolster to tip. It includes a certificate of authenticity. It is made in the village of Espalion, in the historic Laguiole area of France.
