Description

This Laguiole snakewood folding knife has an amourette snakewood handle, a shepherd's cross and shiny steel bolsters. Laguiole en Aubrac handcrafts it in France.

Snakewood is red-brown with dark flecks that look like scales. It is a striking wood on a slim Laguiole shape. The shiny bolsters give it a crisp, dressed-up finish.

The handle is amourette, also called snake wood, with the shepherd's cross set into it. The bee and spring are forged from one piece and fully handmade. The bolsters are shiny stainless steel. The 12C27 Sandvik stainless steel blade is 4 inches (10 cm) long. It measures 4.75 inches (12 cm) from bolster to tip. It includes a certificate of authenticity. It is made in the village of Espalion, in the historic Laguiole area of France.

It is an elegant knife to carry for picnics or keep at the table for cheese and charcuterie. You get one of the finest-looking woods near the entry price of the range.
