Description

This Laguiole serrated bread knife has a 9 inch fully forged stainless steel blade and a curved olive wood handle. Laguiole en Aubrac handcrafts it in France.

The long serrated edge is made for crusty loaves and soft brioche alike. Pale olive wood with honey streaks makes it pretty enough to leave out on a bread board. The handle ends in the classic Laguiole curve.

It is ideal for cutting bread and anything that needs a serrated knife. The 12C27 Sandvik stainless steel blade is 9 inches (22.8 cm) long. The knife is 15 inches (38 cm) overall. Each piece is assembled from start to finish in one sequence by a single artisan. It includes a certificate of authenticity. It is made in the village of Espalion, in the historic Laguiole area of France.

A long blade means fewer strokes through a big sourdough. You will reach for it at breakfast, at lunch and for tomatoes in summer.
