Description

This Laguiole grapevine wood corkscrew has a handle cut from grapevine wood and a matte steel bolster. Laguiole en Aubrac makes it in France, and it is the most fitting handle a wine tool can have.

Grapevine wood is dark brown with twisting, figured grain. No two handles show quite the same pattern. The matte steel keeps the look quiet, so the wood does the talking.

It has three functions: a foil cutter, a corkscrew and a bottle opener. The bolster is matte stainless steel, and it folds to 4 3/4 inches (12 cm). It arrives in a French oak gift box with a certificate of authenticity. A lifetime warranty covers any manufacturing defects. It is made in the village of Espalion, in the historic Laguiole area of France.
