Description

This Laguiole barrel wood corkscrew has a red tinted handle and a serrated foil cutter. Laguiole en Aubrac makes it in France, with a bottle opener built into the cutter.

The handle shows a rosy, reddish grain with a soft sheen. Next to a glass of red, the colours sit together naturally.

The handle is barrel wood with a red tint. The serrated foil cutter includes a built-in bottle opener. Folded, the corkscrew measures 4 3/4 inches (12 cm). It comes in a French oak gift box with a certificate of authenticity. A lifetime warranty covers any manufacturing defects. It is made in the village of Espalion, in the historic Laguiole area of France.

It belongs on a cheese and wine evening, between the board and the bottle. You could give it to anyone who hosts tasting evenings. The red tone looks especially good against pale oak and cream linen.
