The Scotty Dipped is the dipped-glaze variant of the Scotty mug, with two-tone glazing across the body. Same 12-ounce handmade stoneware, different finish.
The dipped technique creates a visible line across the body where two glazes meet. No two mugs end up identical — the depth of each dip and the glaze interaction vary piece to piece. Stoneware still holds temperature well, and the mug still goes in the dishwasher.
The Scotty Dipped by Misewell is made by hand in the Milwaukee ceramic studio. Five two-tone combinations are available: Blue, Pink Glossy, White Glossy, Moss, and Marigold. Slight variations in glaze, form, and texture are part of the handmade process.
Choose this version if you want the visual interest of the dipped line. The standard Scotty remains the pick for a cleaner single-tone mug.
