The Pillar is a fluted ceramic planter on legs that lift the body off the surface. It includes a drainage plate.
The fluted ridges wrap around the body. The legs extend past the base, elevating the planter a few inches above the surface. The small gap changes how it reads — more architectural, less squat. The drainage plate keeps the surface under it dry.
Each Pillar by Misewell is made by hand in the Milwaukee ceramic studio. It measures 6 inches in diameter and 6 inches high. Five glazes are available: Brick, Dune, Marigold, Black, or Pink Matte. Hand-applied, so slight variations appear piece to piece.
Use it on a kitchen counter for a small herb. Or on a bookshelf for a succulent that needs its own space.
