This matcha sampler holds five matchas, 1 oz each: Uji Kyoto ceremonial grade, hibiscus, Earl Grey, peppermint and black tea matcha.
It is the easiest way to find out what kind of matcha drinker you are. Start with the Uji Kyoto ceremonial grade, whisked plain with hot water. Then move on to the flavoured blends, which come into their own in a latte.
One ounce of each is enough to try every blend a few ways: plain, with milk and over ice. Traditional Japanese matcha sits alongside four flavours you will not find in a tea house.
It makes a good gift for someone curious about matcha, and a better one if you add a whisk and a bowl.
