A favorite since the 1950s, it’s the incredible size and color that makes Tartan Dahlia a must-have in the garden and in the vase. Enormous 8-inch bicolor blooms feature a tasteful blend of pristine white and deep purple-burgundy, with variation between petals – some solid, some striped.
A solid performer, the dahlia will give you the biggest blooms when planted in well-drained soil with plenty of sun. Dig up the tubers and bring them indoors for the winter in zones 3-7, otherwise treat them as perennials. Naturally deer-resistant.
